About
Self-taught developer. Nearly two decades building on the web. Now the robots do the grunt work.
I grew up in Silicon Valley and have been tinkering with web stuff since a summer school HTML class at 11. I rode the PHP framework wave from CakePHP to CodeIgniter, spent a few years at Zynga and KIXEYE during the browser gaming era, and eventually landed deep in the Laravel ecosystem doing freelance work.
These days I build using agentic coding โ where AI writes the bulk of the code and I direct it โ which has let me ship across platforms I never would have tackled solo, an order of magnitude faster. I’m currently building MaybeLater and a couple of other projects.
Outside of work, I live with my amazing girlfriend Roxy and our dogs Bo and Bridget.
Current Projects
A read-later app that sends you a weekly digest instead of letting your list pile up forever. Save less, read more โ built with agentic coding across iOS and the browser.
Sudoku in customizable cozy environments. Rain, thunder, a crackling bonfire โ pick your atmosphere, and a chill cat keeps you company while you play.
Daily Tools
Most of my coding happens through Claude Code and Opencode, with Solo running the agents and other long-running tasks. Zed and WezTerm see less action than they did a couple of years ago โ Zed for when I still want to read or edit the code myself, WezTerm for when I need to do something specific by hand.
The Laravel side of things runs locally on Herd Pro, and TablePlus is still my favorite way to poke at a database.
On the creative side, Affinity handles static design, Rive covers anything that needs to move, and lately I’ve been using ComfyUI for AI image and video generation.
